Summary of the Session:
The session began with a self-introduction by all the teachers of HISG. Following that, the Chairman asked each of them to give their view on Artificial Intelligence.
The Principal presented on the topic of Artificial Intelligence as part of the Cambridge South Asia Schools Conference held on the 27th and 28th of March at Delhi. attended by the Chairman and Principal.
The following points were presented by Principal.
- AI aids in problem solving, in teaching/learning and teaching/ assessing.
- In Education, AI can help with preparation of Lesson Plans, Worksheets, practical ideas to implement a lesson, to calculate the workload of teaching staff.
- Students can utilize AI for active learning strategies, note taking, large language model.
- AI can be used as a co-pilot for assessment and marking.
- The content of a topic can be elaborated using AI.
- AI can also be used to improve connection with parents, teachers and students.
- AI can be used in personalized learning, attendance tracking, marking scheme, data about students.
Though AI can be applied to a vast extent in many fields of life, what it cannot do is
- Emotional Intelligence
- Critical Thinking
- Classroom Management
- Moral and Ethical guidance
- Adjust lessons according to each child’s learning ability

Chairman’s Interaction:
- Chairman had a discussion with the teachers on how AI can be implemented in each of their classes.
- The Playablo app was discussed and Sir wanted to check if the tabs provided by Playablo was working and to check on the proposal of the Playablo team.
- Sir insisted that the ICT lab systems must be used by the teachers for preparing any school related word. Hence mobile phones and laptops must not be used.
- Dress code for staff- Teachers must come well dressed in a professional way with no fancy shirts or beards.
- Ms Deepika should maintain Anecdotal records of students for counseling.
- Competitive exams like Olympiads, NELTAS, Spellbee, SOF if any coaching for these exams are provided by teachers.
- With regard to CAE, digital lab and systems are required to conduct the CAE exams.
- Sir wanted more events to be conducted like French day, German day, Korean day and a podcast in each language to be created.
- Teachers who have done MSc, Sir enquired about Quantum Physics and few teachers gave their points on it.
- With regard to MAG Karate, Sir asked why all the children are still only white belt and not moving on to the next level.
- Sir congratulated the school and teacher incharge for winning the 1st prize in the All India SDG competition conducted by Fyule video app on the topic ‘Beat the Junk’.
Conclusion: The one – on- one session with Chairman and all the teachers was an enriching experience.
